How Time Flies
I can't believe it's been so long. Elena has just turned 7 years old, and my baby has just turned 3. How does this happen. Elena is in the 2nd Grade this year and Rachael is starting kindergarten. I finally finished my Medical Transcription Course and now and looking for a job part time for a little extra cash to have on hand for extra fun stuff. We have two weeks before we go to Washington State. Cricket and I are going to have one day to ourselves for Forks, The Vampires, I'm being such a teenager but I love Twilight.

My children, are so obistinate, I really hate to see them as teenagers. I don't think they can be any worse. My 14 month old can not sit still. He loves to take off his clothes along with his diaper and parade around the house. And the best time to do this is when he has to use the bathroom. They can be so naughty at times and other times, they are the sweetest angels God ever put on this earth. I wonder sometimes why that is but, then I remember if they weren't like that sometimes we never would want more or keep the ones we have. I started reading twilight after the movie came out to see what was different because it's been so long since I read the first one. The movie was good for what it was but it could have been so much better and I agree with some people that if you didn't read the books you really would be lost in the movie. The book is so much better. I can't wait till Midnight Sun comes out. The first chapter was so great. It's a book you can't stop reading till the end.

What will kids do when parents aren't in the Room
Yesterday was unforgettable.I decided to take a nap, after church. When I woke up I had a rude awaking. I walk out of the bedroom and there is red koolaid all over the floor. Next, I walk in the kitchen where the cake I made before I went to bed has been cut all around it and now looks like a very small rectangle. Then I turn to walk into the living room and my husband's computer is strewn all over the couch, in pieces. At least 10 keys popped off one of the black rubber pieces under the keys either bitten or ripped off The middle one, Rachael has done this before, but I never imagined she would try it again. Brian was helping his sister with her homework, math, the worst subject ever, and wasn't paying any attention to what the children we having fun doing while the parents were not in the Room. I wanted to go back to bed and wake up again.Hopefully tommorrow will be a lot better.

Homeschooling Elena
School is so different sense I went to school. I have the privledge of staying home with my children. Sometimes I think I don't want to, but everyday my children learn somthing new that will help them become the people they want to be. I never knew school could be so much fun. My 5 year old loves school. We started when she was 3 little by little, so she really doesn't know not going to school. She's just started reading little words, and she's so excited she can pick up a book and know the letters and sound out the words. But besides that, she does have a short attention span, so we play games (go fish, monopoly, checkers, alphabet train game, we made up). I never knew that school could be so much fun, for them and for me. She also has spanish, since we are fluent. Signing, because Elena is partially deaf in both ears, Signing time is the best investment I have ever made. Of course, her letters and numbers, Kinderbach is also wonderful if your children love piano and music. It's a lot of fun and they learn how to play the piano. We have such a good time. Daddy loves to do science expreiments. And we have a map of world history on our living room wall. Elena loves the greeks. Medusa is her favorite. More updates as we go throughout the year. I'll keep you posted.
In the wee hours of the Morning
I like to wake up in the morning, before anyone. All is quiet, I can read, blog, and just listen to the quiet. I never really liked the quiet, but I never take it for granted now. I'm also trying to go to Penn Foster. It's not as hard as I thought it would be so far. I want to do Medical Transcription. In the Morning, I can sit back, crochet, quilt, watch a movie without interruptions. I makes me feel like me. Also, clean house without the children under foot. I just gives me some time to get ready for the rest of the busy day. My serenity is in the wee hours of the morning.
My Lovely Children
As I was checking my email and putting my 1 year old, who is teething to sleep. My 5 year old and 2 year old are putting finger name polish on. Now they are sitting in time out singing and playing with their finger and toes. Singing as loud as they can "I am a child of God". I can only laugh. Even though I know if I do that they will win, so I turn my head in the other direction, and laugh my head off. What would you do? Homeschooling is so wonderful, you see them learn and grow. You never miss a moment, that is so important in their young lives. I would never have believed my first is 5 years old. Kids do the funniest things.
